Palmer Appointed Senior Creative Director at Anthem

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, Sep 17, 2008 -- Anthem Worldwide, a Schawk Strategic Design Company, announced the appointment of Richard Palmer as senior creative director for its New York and New Jersey offices. In this role, Mr. Palmer will provide creative leadership, direction, mentoring and inspiration to both Anthem offices and be a significant creative addition to Anthem's global design network.

Mr. Palmer has been immersed in the world of branding since graduating from Norwich School of Art & Design in England. His style, attention to detail and passion for delivering engaging brand ideas and solutions has made him one of the most sought after creative minds in the industry. His approach to delivering creative simplicity to develop or enhance brands has produced memorable packaging and brand identities both nationally and globally, most recently for Procter & Gamble, Gillette, MARS Foods, and Unilever Bestfoods. Over the years, he has worked with many of the world's leading brands including Kimberly-Clark, Colgate-Palmolive, Benjamin Moore, Ben & Jerry's, Johnson & Johnson, GlaxoSmithKline, Hill's Pet Food, and Kraft Foods.

Mr. Palmer comes to Anthem from Sterling Brands in New York, where he provided strong leadership, direction, mentoring, and support to the design team. Earlier, he worked in Landor's New York and Cincinnati offices. Mr. Palmer began his career in design at Smith & Milton and SiebertHead in London.
