Teterboro, NJ – September 15, 2008 - Superior Printing Ink, the largest supplier of commercial sheetfed inks in North America, is expanding sales of ISO-2846-1 compliant process inks in their sheetfed, UV, and heatset web product lines.

With the increasing acceptance of GRACoL 7 within the printing industry and greater awareness of ISO printing standards, Superior’s G7 process inks meet the ISO 2846-1 standard, allowing for ISO 12647-2 compliance in the pressroom. "Print buyers are demanding exacting color control more than ever before, and these ISO compliant ink systems are one part of our overall program to enable printers to achieve accurate and consistent color reproduction”, states Steve Simpson, Senior Vice President and Chief Technical Officer. “Our customers have come to rely on us to provide not only resources such as G7 Master Printer certification by our team of G7 Experts, but also a complete portfolio of inks that meet the rigorous requirements for compliance with the G7 specification and ISO 2846-1 and ISO 12647-2 standards." Superior’s ISO compliant range of products includes the industry benchmark Evolution G7 sheetfed series, Superior's commercial heatset web series, and the high performance Super-Cure, Inter-Cure, and Plastik-Cure UV product lines.
