This is especially beneficial for the traveling professional who can order from one location for printing in a traveling destination within a large national network of Sir Speedy and PIP printers. Next, simple screen prompts guide the user through login and selection of paper color, bindings, quantities, payment, and delivery methods. They even get an automatic price quote, an online proof, plus completion date and time before the file is uploaded. In addition, users receive a confirming e-mail as soon as the print-ready file is received. After the document and instructions are sent to the Sir Speedy and PIP location, users are notified as the job is processed and they can track the progress right from their Web browser. In addition, users are automatically notified when the job is completed and ready for pickup or delivery. "The ability to order digital printing, along with complete bindery, payment, and delivery options, right from a customer's document authoring application, will be a tremendous benefit to our franchisees," said Don Lowe, president and CEO of Franchise Services, Inc., owners of both Sir Speedy and PIP. "In addition, Webprint's solution doesn't require our franchisees or their customers to learn additional applications or change the way they normally print documents."
