Association Calls for Presentations For DPI 02 Annual Conference

Press release from the issuing company

FAIRFAX, VA–The Digital Printing & Imaging Association (DPI) seeks written proposals from qualified industry experts for educational program presentations at its 10th Annual Conference & Exhibit, DPI’02, to be held March 6-9, 2002, at the Palm Springs Convention Center in Palm Springs, California, USA. The show’s theme is Control Your Future, and the expected attendance is 2,500+ digital printers and wide format graphics producers from around the world. The Conference offers qualified industry experts the opportunity to share unique solutions to common problems, new management techniques, innovative uses of technology, success stories (case histories), and more. DPI’s Annual Conference programming is substantially based on this annual Call for Presentations, for the avowed purpose of providing attendees with the strongest forum for industry expertise, information exchange, problem solving and networking on an international level. DPI is seeking approximately 30 presentations – in addition to those already under development – in any of three program types: (1) Technology, (2) Business or (3) Vendor (proprietary) presentations. The Association strongly urges technology users to make presentation proposals. To make a proposal for a DPI’02 presentation, you will need to submit an abstract of the proposed session, not to exceed 250 words. DPI seeks presentations that contain new information, and ask that ideas previously presented at DPI or other industry Conferences not be submitted. Identify the person to make the presentation (the presenter), with company affiliation and contact data. Indicate your audience (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced or Senior Level) and program type (Technology, Business or Vendor). Once DPI receives an abstract, it will be evaluated on the overall quality, relevance, and practical applications of material. Deadline to submit presentation proposals is 14 September 2001. DPI will announce the final selections by mid-October. To receive a form for submitting the abstract and related information – as well as a list of suggested topics – please direct inquiries to Managing Director John S. Shaw at Association headquarters: 10015 Main Street, Fairfax, VA 22031-3489 USA. Telephone: (703) 385-1339. Fax: (703) 359-1336. E-mail: [email protected]. Internet: http://www.dpia.org.
