Minuteman International Signs Agreement with FileFlow

BOSTON---July 3, 2001--FileFlow, Inc. - developer of the Internet's FastSend(TM) digital courier service - has announced that Minuteman International has chosen FastSend as the electronic file delivery system for their network of 800 stores worldwide. FastSend is an Internet-enabled service that allows the fast, easy and convenient transfer of complex graphic files from Minuteman's customers to any Minuteman location. Regardless of the customer's Internet connection speed or file size, FastSend reduces the amount of time it takes to send files, often saving hours. "Convenience is very important to our customers,'' said Michael Jutt, Vice President and Director of Training at Minuteman International. "By using FastSend, our customers can avoid the process of copying files to disks and then finding a method of transporting it to one of our stores. This can become even more important when they find they've forgotten a key file or font and they have to make a second trip before the job can be printed.'' As graphic files get larger, fewer options for transmitting them to printers and prepress houses are available. E-mail programs and ISP's tend to limit the amount of data that can be attached to an e-mail message, making it difficult for large jobs to be sent electronically. FTP solutions help sidestep that issue, but slow Internet connections often make it a frustrating chore for customers. FastSend avoids both these issues, often transmitting as much as 25-megabytes in less than 3 minutes over a dial-up connection. Without FastSend, transmitting that amount of data takes hours.
