TLMI Announces 2023 Scholarship Winners

TLMI awarded eight academic scholarships totaling $16,000 and five member-employee scholarships totaling $12,500 for a total of $28,500 in scholarships this year. The academic scholarships went to the following students who are majoring in a course of study that will place them in a career in printed packaging:

Amber Dobbins: Fort Hays State University
Erika Jackett: University of Wisconsin at Stout
Hadar Wercberger: Toronto Metropolitan University
Maddie Martin: Central Piedmont Community College
Maili Simons: Illinois State University
Rayna Farkas: California Polytechnic State University
Sam Huss: University of Wisconsin at Stout
Zach Walker: Central Piedmont Community College

The TLMI judges made up of the Workforce Development Committee, were very impressed with the level of commitment and scholarly achievement of all the students. The TLMI Member Employee Scholarships were awarded to the following students who work full-time for a TLMI member company while earning a degree:

Allison Senini: Abbott Label
Heather Durkee: Grand Rapids Label
Keith Moore: Blue Label Packaging
Kayla Register: Green Bay Packaging
Tyler Cuneo: Label King

The TLMI judges took great pride in awarding these scholarships to fellow TLMI members and were inspired by their work ethic and achievement goals. Linnea Keen, president of TLMI, commented, “The association is thrilled with supporting the education and goals of all the scholarship winners this year. Our annual scholarships are one way that TLMI supports the continued expansion of the industry workforce.”
