Fachverband Medienproduktion (f:mp.), Zell/Mosel—Fachverband Medienproduktion e.V. (english: Media Production Professional Association) takes over responsibility for the PrintCity Alliance on 1 July. PrintCity GmbH says goodbye to its long-time Managing Director Rainer Kuhn in retirement and hands over responsibility for the organisation and implementation of the PrintCity Alliance to f:mp. Under the leadership of Rüdiger and Marcel Maaß, PrintCity will be managed as an industry initiative of f:mp. The PrintCity Alliance is the renowned competence network for pioneering technologies and outstanding results in the printing, packaging and label industry.

The first announcement for further development is the focus on manufacturers, suppliers and service providers as the core target group.

"It was important to me to find a successor with reach, experience and a large network. Since we have already worked very successfully with Rüdiger Maaß and f:mp. for many years, I am very happy that we were able to win him for this task. Professionally and personally, he fulfils all the criteria to continue the Alliance successfully! The members of the Alliance have fully welcomed this proposal," says Rainer Kuhn, outgoing Managing Director of PrintCity.

Rüdiger Maaß is proud of what has been achieved: "Leading PrintCity in the f:mp. association is a positive development. f:mp. has been working with PrintCity for many years. We are pleased with the trust that has been expressed."

Furthermore, Maaß sees this as a useful addition to his portfolio of topics: "The growth market of packaging and labelling and the associated suppliers enrich the association both for its existing members and for new target groups."
