Press release from the issuing company

  • New version 4.2 released
  • Support for Adobe Creative Cloud 2023
  • Enhanced metadata management

Hamburg/Bönningstedt – vjoon, a global leader in content management solutions, presents seven DAM version 4.2. The latest release of the next-generation digital asset management platform supports Creative Cloud 2023, recently unveiled at Adobe Max, as well as macOS Ventura. In addition, image data management has been optimized for high throughput using InDesign Server, enabling performance improvements, especially for larger editorial teams.

The new release is now available for delivery via your respective integration partners.

Support for Adobe Creative Cloud 2023

With version 4.2, vjoon seven plug-ins and adapters support Adobe Creative Cloud 2023, allowing users to benefit directly from the innovations this new version offers. For example, smartphones create an increasingly vast amount of photos used by creatives, and are not often stored in traditional JPEG or PNG formats. Converting files such as HEIF, HEIC, WEBP and JP2K squanders valuable time from the editorial staff. Now, users can manage these native formats in seven and place them directly from seven in InDesign, saving time, and expanding the creative process to new possibilities and digital channels.

Enhanced metadata management

Metadata management has also been further enhanced in the latest version of vjoon seven. DAM managers and other users now have additional options for batch importing large quantities of assets, making it easier to manage assets overall.
