PeopleSoft and iPrint Team to Offer E-Printing Solution

Press release from the issuing company

(Menlo Park, CA - May 16, 2001) - iPrint Enterprise Systems Group, an operating division of iPrint, inc. (NASDAQ: IPRT), today announced an agreement to integrate iPrint's e-printing services with PeopleSoft® 8 eProcurement, a pure internet solution that streamlines the entire supply chain from item selection through payment. Both companies will co-market the solution to PeopleSoft® 8 eProcurement customers. Using iPrint's XML-PrintBuyerTM technology, iPrint will seamlessly integrate to PeopleSoft's eProcurement application. The integration allows PeopleSoft's eProcurement customers to obtain custom-printed items through a link to iPrint's e-Print Center-an online environment where they can design and order branded, custom-printed materials. After proofing their order online, customers can return to the eProcurement application to complete the purchase requisition. The requisition is then submitted for spending approval utilizing PeopleSoft's workflow engine. The e-Print Center streamlines the print process while enabling users to leverage the financial and approval workflows inherent to PeopleSoft. The approach simplifies the ordering process for both the buyer and the supplier, bringing efficiencies and cost savings. "PeopleSoft is a dominant supplier of enterprise supply chain software, and we're excited to be co-marketing our powerful e-printing solution through a variety of PeopleSoft marketing channels including Web sites, newsletters, conferences and marketing collateral," said Tom Haley, Vice President, Enterprise Systems Group for iPrint. "PeopleSoft enterprise customers will be able to streamline their commercial printing workflow, centralize control and accountability, cut printing costs, and improve IT ROI performance -all from within their existing PeopleSoft collaborative e-Procurement application. This relationship confirms iPrint's strategy of tightly integrating our e-printing solution with major ERP systems." The e-Print Center is customized for each organization, enabling companies to lock down logos and taglines to ensure consistency, and allows for distributed ordering for corporations with offices in multiple locations. iPrint also offers specialized commercial printing services such as facilitating the printing of brochures, bound documentation, promotional items, customized apparel, as well as direct mail and fulfillment services. Printing is done through iPrint's extensive network of commercial printing partners or via existing vendor relationships. "By seamlessly integrating our Web-based purchasing solution with iPrint's technology, we can offer PeopleSoft eProcurement customers a heightened commercial buying experience," said Mike Frandsen, Vice President and General Manager of PeopleSoft's Supply Chain Division. "Not only does the partnership make it easier to obtain custom-printed materials, but it decreases the customer's cost, and reduces their implementation time to virtually zero."
