Boston, MA; April 5, 2001 - Publishers, catalogers and product marketers visiting the Banta Integrated Media booth #2833 at the 2001 Seybold Seminars Boston exhibition will see demonstrations of software products designed to help them efficiently and effectively synchronize the delivery of content across multiple channels - in print and via the Internet. Among these, Banta is highlighting the recently announced product of its sister company, Meadows Information Systems, Inc., DesignMerge(TM) Web, a server-based application that enables sales and marketing staff to customize variable data documents via the Internet. DesignMerge Web has been selected as a "Hot Pick" by the Seybold Publications editorial staff a product singled out as "not to be missed" on the show floor. The company is also demonstrating the desktop version of the Meadows' DesignMerge Pro XTension(TM) to QuarkXPress(TM) for variable data production, including the newly introduced PPML driver software. The PPML driver software for DesignMerge Pro generates files that are compatible with any PPML-enabled printer, and has been optimized for use with Xeikon digital presses. Banta is showcasing its B-media(TM) digital content management software at this year's Seybold Boston exposition. B-media is a robust enterprise-class software application that allows catalogers, publishers, and product marketers to centrally store and manage all of their digital assets, product information, and legacy system data for synchronized multi-channel publication. Seybold Seminars Boston marks the first public showing of the recently announced B-media Version 2.6 since it began shipping in February. In-depth demonstrations of the B-media software will focus on how the software integrates with the current workflows of multi-channel publishers, specific solutions for catalogers, publishers, and product marketers, the new features of this most recent version, and the general benefits of implementing a digital content management solution.
