Carrington Textiles Receives JOSCAR Accreditation

Press release from the issuing company

This certification system that operates in the Defence, Aerospace and Security sectors helps determine if a supplier is fit for business.

Adlington, United Kingdom: Global workwear textile manufacturer, Carrington Textiles, has announced the company’s recent JOSCAR accreditation which works as a compliance system for suppliers to the defence, aerospace and security industry.

The ‘Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register’ (JOSCAR) is a collaborative tool used to act as a single source for pre-qualification and compliance information. Membership is designed to improve efficiency of both the supplier and buyer communities by ensuring that companies only use products and solutions of the highest quality and that comply with best practices.

Carrington Textiles Sales Director, Paul Farrell, says: “Holding this accreditation will make the process of trading in these sectors easier. We’ve been a long serving supplier to many armed forces and believe that the JOSCAR accreditation will benefit our future trading relationships in the industry”.

With decades of expertise in the defence industry Carrington Textiles develops defence fabrics for combat uniforms and equipment with flame retardant and waterproof options; as well as offering MultiCam® patterns.
