Corel Announces Upcoming Launch of Creative Products for International Markets

CEBIT, Hanover, Germany – Mar 22, 2001Corel Corporation (NASDAQ: CORL, TSE: COR) is pleased to announce that it will soon be launching new versions of five of its award-winning creative products, specifically targeting international markets. Beginning in the Summer of 2001, Corel will release international versions of its latest graphics offerings, starting with Bryce 5 and followed by CorelDRAW 10 for Mac, Corel Painter 7, Corel KnockOut 2, and KPT 7, which will arrive throughout the summer and fall. All products will be available in international English and German, with Bryce 5, Corel Painter 7, and KPT 7 also available in French. "Summer 2001 will feature an impressive lineup of new graphics offerings from Corel," said Ian LeGrow, executive vice-president, creative products, at Corel Corporation. "By releasing the latest versions of Bryce 5, CorelDRAW 10 for Mac, Corel KnockOut 2, Corel Painter 7 and KPT 7, in a variety of languages, we are ensuring graphics professionals worldwide will have all the tools they need to explore new heights of expressing their creativity with the most advanced software applications available." As in previous years, Corel will be present at CEBIT in Hanover, Germany, from March 22 to March 28. During the show, Corel can be found in Hall 2, booth C-28 and representatives will be on hand to address all queries pertaining to products, licensing and the new corporate strategy. In addition, long-time VAR and CorelDRAW user, Dr. Konrad Haller, CEO and managing director of EDV-Dr. Haller & Co. GmbH, will be present to demonstrate the benefits of Corel's graphics products in the construction of traffic and roadwork applications, where the application's stability and precision are essential. "Tests and detailed analyses showed that the best design results for our products could be obtained by using CorelDRAW," explains Dr. Haller.
