PITTSBURGH, PA USA (March 19, 2001) -- printCafe(TM), the operating system for print(TM), is now accepting online registrations for Connect 2001 at the company's Web site, www.printcafe.com. Hundreds of customers have already registered for the event, which features three days of learning, hands-on time with advanced print management system technology, and networking. Connect 2001 will take place Thursday, June 14 through Saturday, June 16, 2001, at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel in Orlando, Florida. Pre-conference events are scheduled for Wednesday, June 13, and post-conference events are planned for Sunday, June 17. Believed to be the largest gathering of its kind in the industry, the annual printCafe user conference is named "Connect" to reflect the goals of the forum. The conference connects printCafe users with leading-edge technologies enabling them to interact with and service their customers more efficiently. It also connects attendees with market trends and expectations for the future of the print industry. Finally, the conference is a unique opportunity for users to connect with one another, providing a place to learn, share, and network with industry experts, peers, and third-party providers of complementary hardware, software, and services. Connect 2001 will host several keynote sessions featuring high-profile industry and business leaders to be announced later this month. Topics include the state of the print industry: what's it going to take to thrive in a digital world; preparing for the future of print technology; and strategies to better connect with your customers.
