Neopost Announces New Management Appointments

HAYWARD, Calif., March 26, 2001 -- Neopost Inc., a worldwide leading provider of mailing, document handling and logistics systems, today announces the appointments of Jean Weber as vice president of technical operations, Tony Kuchta as vice president of sales operations, Steve Pietz as vice president of marketing and Barbara Wissler as vice president of Neopost Logistics Systems. Jean Weber has acted as vice president in charge of Neopost Logistics Systems and business line director of shipping systems for Neopost Group since 1997. He will now be responsible for service activities, technical support, and research and development for all of Neopost’s product lines. His responsibilities will also include overseeing Neopost’s manufacturing plant in Mexico. Weber’s focus in his new role is to strengthen and differentiate Neopost’s superior service, thereby increasing Neopost’s competitive advantage. Tony Kuchta, former vice president of Neopost’s document handling division, will now be in charge of U.S. sales operations. His responsibilities include overseeing Neopost’s three major distribution channels: the company’s network of U.S. branch offices, U.S. dealers and OEM sales. Additionally, Kuchta will be responsible for lead generation activities in Hayward, Neopost’s Dallas call center, and PassPort, Neopost’s sales automation system. Kuchta will be spearheading Neopost’s initiative to increase marketing efforts from its Dallas call center this year. Steve Pietz, who served as Neopost’s national marketing manager since 1995, will continue to develop and implement marketing plans that ensure attainment of Neopost’s revenue goals. As vice president of marketing, he is responsible for new product development and product marketing activities, including product management and sales support. Barbara Wissler, a 20-year veteran of the company, will draw on her proven sales expertise to focus the logistics systems sales and marketing organization. Her responsibilities will also include identifying new partnership opportunities within this dynamic arena. “As Neopost continues to define itself as the industry’s service leader, it’s imperative that we re-organize to put the most efficient management team in place.
