Merrill and TRION Technologies Combine Legal Industry Services

Merrill's current DMS executive team will have responsibility for the management of the combined organization. The agreement brings together two companies that offer technology solutions to the legal marketplace. Merrill's DMS business is a full-service provider of document management capabilities that include: Browser-based Internet/Intranet repositories that use its UR-Law® litigation data management software. Complete electronic discovery support through the Merrill Electronic Discovery Group. Facilities management leadership with more than 100 client sites nationwide. Imaging and coding. High-volume reprographic services from locations in 11 key cities TRION specializes in three product areas: litigation data management software, document imaging and coding, and electronic discovery services. Judicata®, TRION's litigation support software, is available as a browser-based Internet or Intranet application. e-Capture, TRION's electronic discovery service, converts electronic documents into searchable images and associated text.
