Color Central, the market-leading OPI and print management solution, increases digital workflow productivity by automatically reducing image file sizes for fast handling during production, then restores the full image data for final output. This server-based software also automates printing activity by allowing the user to send files to queues or hot folders. Color Central then directs the files to network PostScript output devices, load-balancing the work. Color Central also provides security and auditing features for optimal control of the user's environment, and, in the Windows environment, it is fully integrated with TrapWise for Windows. The Macintosh server version of Color Central 3.7 contains major upgrades, synchronizing its OPI and print management capabilities with those currently available in the Windows version. Minor enhancements to the Windows version 3.6.1, including USB support, are also included. Both Windows NT/Windows 2000 and Macintosh versions of Color Central 3.7 are localized for the European market, with the software available for no additional cost in English, French, German, and Spanish on a single CD.
