Press release from the issuing company

San Jose, Calif., -Adobe Systems Incorporated today announced that Adobe® Photoshop® 6.0 software was named a winner of the sixteenth Annual Macworld Editors’ Choice Awards in the Best Graphics Software category. The Eddy Awards honor the top software and hardware products in the Macintosh market, that have been released between November 1, 1999 and November 1, 2000. Adobe has always prided itself on providing the Macintosh market with innovative products for professional Web design and print publishing customers. This is the second consecutive year that Adobe has won an Eddy Award, with Adobe After Effects® 5.1 and Adobe InDesign™1.0 software winning last year. Before MacWorld selects the winners, the list is narrowed down to three finalists in each category. Adobe Illustrator® 9.0 and Adobe Photoshop 6.0 software were finalists in the Best Graphics Software category, Adobe Acrobat InProduction™ 1.0 was a finalist in the Best Publishing Software category, and Adobe LiveMotion™ 1.0 was a nominee in the Best Web Motion Software category.
