Atlanta, GA - T/R SYSTEMS, INC. (NASDAQ: TRSI), a leader in developing innovative solutions for the management and production of digital communications, announced connectivity to numerous new monochrome and color print d evices manufactured by several different OEM partners. Those devices, in combination with T/R Systems' award-winning MicroPress, provide customers with a unique and powerful print-on-demand solution. The MicroPress now supports the RicohÆ Aficio 700, Ricoh Aficio 850, Ricoh Aficio 1050, Kyocera Mita FS-9000, the Canon imageRUNNER 110 as shipped by IKON Office Solutions, and the Toshiba 6070 and 8070, all of which are monochrome printers. "The MicroPress has come a long way since the days when relatively few devices with limited capabilities could be connected. Today, the devices are substantially faster and the MicroPress is significantly more powerful, allowing more customers to benefit from the power of connecting multiple devices together on a single, integrated front-end," said Mike Kohlsdorf, President and CEO of T/R Systems. "With these new connections, the MicroPress now supports 20 different devices and, according to INTERQUEST, an industry analyst and strategic consultant specializing in electronic publishing and printing, T/R Systems is expected to capture additional market share in 2000 over its market share in 1999."
