Uncoated papers advance on expensive coated grades for print quality, brightness and high recycled content NEW YORK--April 22, 2002-- For the first time, digitally-printed uncoated papers can deliver the superior image quality of high-cost coated papers, said the CEO of an independent U.S. specialty papermaker. Eastern Paper pioneered the patent-pending manufacturing processes used in this new generation of uncoated papers, which create extraordinary print results on dry- and liquid-toner lasers.
