Another voice enters the fray.
Another voice enters the fray. From across the pond, the Confederation of Paper Industries (CPI) has
launched a brochure called “Paper Myths and Facts: A Balanced View.” The
online edition features a series of clickable “myths” that links to text that dispels those myths, albeit focusing largely on the UK and European paper industry. There is also a hard copy edition available.
Some of the myths tackled include old standbys like “The paper industry destroys forests” and “We should only use and produced recycled paper” to somewhat less common topics like “Air dryers are more hygienic and better for the environment than paper towels” and “Modern technology will replace paper.”
Good stuff. More information
