Anyway, the Southeastern Chapter of the Institute of Packaging Professionals (IoPP) has announced that their 4th Annual “48 Hour Re-Pack” Student Packaging Design Competition is now open. The competition “was created as a forum to highlight the skills and talents of tomorrow’s design professionals,” says the IoPP;
the 2013 “48 Hour Re-Pack” Student Packaging Design Competition encourages creative problem-solving and “smart design” for packaging of everyday products. Design improvements can be applied to any package or a completely new concept in one of the categories.
More information and registration forms can be found here. As the name of the contest suggests, “The 2013 categories will be unveiled by e-mail at 7 pm on Friday, February 22, 2013. All submissions must be received by 7 pm on Sunday, February 24, 2013.” The registration deadline is February 20.
