Through a convoluted series of links that started at
Environmental Leader, I ended up at a
blog post from November that detailed 10, shall we say, “creative” ideas that various folks have come up with to help the environment, with “creative” being used rather euphemistically. From combating GHGs with
kangaroo flatulence, to a
laptop computer made of bamboo, my favorite has to be the idea of a
human-powered floating gym (the illustration kind of reminds me of
zorbing, an upsetting concept in and of itself). Oh, and there is also the idea of
environmental justice: “legal representation on behalf of the environment—plants, animals, insects.” Hmm...sounds like it could be a new prime-time legal drama. Shatner would be great in it.
