The Muppet Show was a constant fixture in my home in the 1970s, and violinist, whistler, singer, and multi-instrumentalist Andrew Bird is a constant fixture on my CD player and iPod today. So when Mr. Bird covers Mr. Frog (that’s a strange ecosystem...) for a forthcoming Muppets tribute album, I sit up and take notice.
