Last October, GreenBiz conducted a free
Webinar on plastic packaging and, specifically, new forms of bioplastics, which, it is hoped, will aid in the biodegrading of packaging materials. The Webinar generated no small number of questions, and—as is inevitably the case—not all were able to be covered in the Webinar itself. So the hosts have compiled the remainder of them
here. Which bioplastics are biodegradable? Which aren’t? And one big issue: “What is the best benefit from a bioplastic: the biodegradability or the renewable source reducing the carbon footprint?” There is also a link to listen to a recording of the original Webinar (free, but registration required, natch).
