Focused on environmental protection, economic benefits, and social responsibility, the
Heidelberg HEI Eco Printing Awards honor printers that are using their creativity to achieve sustainable and financial success.
This year, a five-member panel of international judges selected two winners from 52 applicants.
Dick Kouwenhoven, Hemlock Printers, Vancouver BC, was presented with the environmental award for the most sustainable printshop, which comes with a prize fund of EUR 30,000.
Kazuhisa Yoshida, owner of
Yoshida Printing in Japan, accepted the award for most innovative stand-alone solution and a check for EUR 20,000.
Wait, it's not too late for you!
While Heidelberg has distributed their awards, you still have time to submit your application for the
WhatTheyThink Environmental Innovation Award. The deadline has been extended until April 9, so
get your application now and don't miss your chance to win.
Our winners will be flown to Atlanta, where they will be presented their awards by executives from
WhatTheyThink and
Unisource, our partner in this program. Not only will each recipient be spotlighted on all of WhatTheyThink’s online properties, each will be keynoted in a one-on-one video that can shared with their customers and the press.
As a special “Thank You,” winners also get site-wide corporate access to
WhatTheyThink.com for a year.
I'm sorry, but unfortunately you will
not be presented with a check for lots of Euros.
