Wouldn't it be great to have a "business GPS" - one where you could just type in "green sustainable printer" as your destination, and hit the ENTER key? Follow the turn-by-turn directions until you've heard the funny sounding canned voice say, "You've arrived at your destination." (From the Green GPS for Printers website.) Thanks to our readers, we are regularly pointed to some very interesting - and useful - resources. Roy Seibert, President of Procam Controls, Plano TX, forwarded me a link to The Green GPS for Printers. Roy said,
"We have just finished studying The Green GPS for Printers and we were very impressed.  Finally someone goes beyond the talking about the need and provides a succinct process for achieving 'Sustainability' and the benefits that go along with it."
The good news: this looks like a useful tool that is very reasonably priced. More good news: the Peak Focus consulting firm that has put this together is working closely with the Sustainable Green Printing Partnership. The bad news: the Green GPS for Printers website is reminiscent of a late night cable TV infomercial...  "buy now and save... but wait, there's more...!!"
