Canadian GeographicIt's possible to make paper out of just about anything, as long as there is some cellulose fiber in it. Today, CanWest News Service announced that the latest edition of Canadian Geographic Magazine has been printed on paper made from wheat-straw waste using technologies developed by the Edmonton-based Alberta Research Council (ARC). The June edition, produced by Ottawa-based Dollco Printing, is described as the first North American magazine printed on wheat-straw paper.
