This post is not exactly print related, but the Wall Street Journal made some good points in an article entitled "Amtrak's Lesson: Check Legal Bills Closely". Many medium and large printing companies often use law firms to review deals and business transactions. The article advises companies to keep a close eye on legal fees while implementing billing guidelines for their law firms. Once a relationship becomes comfortable, lawyers are less likely to fully describe the work performed on their invoices.
