Cloud offering for PSPs taps into growth of email marketing
GMC Software Technology (GMC), the award-winning leader in Customer Communications Management (CCM) and output management, launches Inspire Messenger. Part of the GMC Inspire platform, Inspire Mssenger is GMC’s latest cloud service that lets print service providers (PSPs) and service bureaus create fully automated, one to one personalized emails and SMS texts directly.
The full package of web portal, tracking systems, email provider and online dashboard uses existing GMC Inspire templates and workflows that connect seamlessly by a single click. This means email and SMS marketing campaigns can send and track without the need for additional IT skills, further software investment or expensive third parties.
According to key industry analysts, 35 percent of marketing budgets in 2014 will be spent on digital channels1leaving PSPs and direct mailers with lower print volumes, missed opportunities and risk of losing customers to multichannel providers. Inspire Messenger being an entry level solution empowers them to offer more value added services, increase revenue and further differentiate from competitors. Aimed at those who have already invested in GMC and have complex content management requirements but also prefer a ‘pay as you go’ business model, Inspire Messenger quickly and easily delivers multichannel broadcasts.
Scott Draeger, VP of product marketing at GMC said, “With 62 percent of companies increasing investment in email marketing for engagement and retention2, GMC’s Inspire Messenger launch helps small and large mailers capitalize on opportunities in new channels and meets more of their customers’ needs. Now you don’t have to outsource your digital marketing activities—it can be done in-house, with no upfront investment or specialized training. It’s this type of technology and offering that keeps GMC the leader in the customer experience market.”
Managing director Will Anthes of W8Data, data cleaning and mailing specialists, confirmed, “The ability to offer email and SMS broadcasts without having to invest in further software or to outsource the work to third parties was particularly exciting.”
