Press release from the issuing company
Enterprise Print Management Solutions (EPMS), a leading developer of print MIS, located in Middleboro, MA, is pleased to announce an integration partnership with Bradner Central Company, located in Elk Grove Village, IL. EPMS, with hundreds of printing company clients in North America, is well known not only for its robust and highly scalable print MIS but also for its willingness to partner with other industry vendors whose products are in use at client sites. Bradner Central Company is a leading paper distributor, founded in 1852 in Chicago as Bradner Smith and Company. Bradner Central currently serves as headquarters for six wholly-owned subsidiaries that distribute printing paper and allied products to commercial printing, retailer, advertising, magazine and catalog publisher, business forms, direct mail and label industries.
According to Greg Scheidt, Vice President/IS Director at Bradner, the integration partnership is an important one for the clients of both EPMS and Bradner. “Our goal developing this integration is to provide our customers using EPMS all the capabilities and features of our industry leading e-commerce website from within EPMS’s applications. Our customers’ estimators and buyers using EPMS applications will now receive real-time information on pricing and availability where it matters most, in their estimating and purchasing modules, eliminating double-entry and improving accuracy. All the features our customers view through our on-line catalog will be available within EPMS’s system, such as alternate packaging, larger sizes, alternate items and even our key suppliers’ inventory availability in a easy to use and fast interface. Our solution is unique because it does not require our item numbers to function – customers can use the manufacturer’s item, their item number, or an attribute search using the paper item’s specifications on the estimate to view their pricing and our availability. When their order is placed, our seamless Order Entry integration with EPMS’s Purchasing module will allow buyers to review pricing, availability, make changes, updating the EPMS purchase order and our sales order, eliminating all double entry and guaranteeing an accurate purchase order and sales order. Our new integration adds tremendous value to EPMS’s applications and Bradner’s service platform, making our customers more efficient servicing their customers.”
Mark Andersen, President and CTO at Enterprise, concurs. “EPMS continually seeks integration partnerships that will benefit both its present and future clients. The ability for our clients to see stock availability and pricing, and place orders directly with the distributor via our Purchasing module , is an immense time-saver for the paper buyers. We have many clients in the mid-West who do business with Bradner and the integration that was created to link our print MIS to Bradner’s inventory data will help those clients to not only expedite their stock purchases but also eliminate the margin for error that exists when stock is ordered manually. We are extremely pleased to announce this integration partnership with Bradner Central.”
