Advanced Vision Technology (AVT), the world leader in print process control, quality assurance and color control for the label, packaging, folding cartons and commercial print markets, is presenting their complete complement of quality and process control solutions for the label printing and rewinding market at LabelExpo Americas in Chicago from September 11ththrough 13th, 2012 in Booth #711.
LabelExpo Americas, held every two years at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont (Chicago), Illinois, is America’s largest event for the label, product decoration, web printing and converting industry.
Commenting on the show, Amir Dekel, Corporate VP Marketing of AVT said: “Visiting the AVT booth at Label Expo this year is an absolute must. We are demonstrating many of our solutions for the first time at LabelExpo Americas and our collection of label solutions offers something important for virtually every printer and application.”
Latest generation solutions will include:
PrintVision/Helios II – This industry leading 100% inspection technology is designed to meet the requirements of any label and narrow web application. It is a sophisticated solution capable of inspecting all print technologies both on press and on rewinder and has many additional tools and modules.
SpectraLab – SpectraLab is a new add-on module to the Helios II family, featuring in-line spectral measurements according to the international ISO standards. It provides absolute color measurements, L*a*b*, and Density readings to match with brand owner’s color standards and design and to help in maintaining perfect color match all through the run. SpectraLab is the only ISO compliant spectrophotometer available on the market for the on press in-line measurement of absolute color and density values of color critical packaging.
PrintVision/Helios Sense – Another new product is AVT PrintVision/Helios Sense 100% inspection platform, which is designed to simultaneously inspect and verify print and transparent varnish faults. Helios Sense can also view and inspect braille in parallel to print.
RLM (Repeat Length Measurement) – RLM is a new addition to Helios II, enabling the monitoring of repeat length and providing alerts for any deviation.
Zero Setup – Answering the market needs for inspection on shorter runs and digital printing presses, AVT presents it’s “zero setup” ability and advanced automation
Workflow Link – Customers will be able to see the well-established WorkFlow Link solution using the information from the inspection on the press to automatically stop the rewinder
ProMIS – ProMIS sends the relevant information from MIS systems directly into the Helios II inspection system shortening setup and preventing mistakes
Other solutions will include Job verification using the original PDF file, Barcodes and Variable data verification, and DeltaE color measurement.
AVT has a large installed base within the packaging market, and is seeing growing demand for inspection solutions on both traditional and digital presses. It was announced recently that AVT was selected to join the HP Partner Program for the Indigo division.
