Press release from the issuing company

NPES The Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies, and NAPL, the National Association for Printing Leadership, have partnered together to conduct a series of four, half-day educational and business networking events in May and June, beginning in New Jersey (NJ/NY metro area) then moving on to Boston, Chicago and Ohio. The meetings which are designed for graphic communications executives and their leadership teams will focus on the latest industry intel and business management updates including: skills in sales and human resource management; new and emerging technologies; effective online and social media marketing; and, the personal leadership skills required to run a business successfully.

"For leaders in any market, it's essential to keep abreast of what's happening in the industry and adapt accordingly," says Ralph Nappi, NPES President. "These sessions will help do just that and more. This new program was carefully crafted to bring together all constituents of the graphic communications industry with four topics of business management importance to leaders whatever their market. And by taking the program to four different regional business centers, we provide busy executives the convenience of networking with colleagues and industry peers without having to travel out of the way to do so."

Each Executive Briefing session, which includes a networking luncheon, runs from 8:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. The program features four industry-respected expert presenters who will update participants' knowledge in four topical, relevant areas of vital importance to effective business management. Sales educator and trainer Carl Henry, Principal, Carl Henry Associates, will define, and reveal the value of 'emotional intelligence' in helping business leaders create and then support successful teams that will build on their company's success. Technical graphic communications expert, John Jay Jacobs, Visiting Lecturer, Department of Graphic Communications, Clemson University, will impart insight into new and emerging technologies that are revolutionizing the world of print and graphic communications. Social media and online marketing 'guru,' John Foley, Chief Executive Officer, Grow Socially, will address how social media technology can help drive your brand and boost your bottom line. And leadership expert, Joe Truncale, Ph.D., NAPL President & Chief Executive Officer, will round out the program with an insightful session on 'The Leadership Edge'—how to get there and stay there!
