August 26, 2003 -- Westampton, New Jersey — Building on the success of their Spring Customer Expo, MBO America and Muller Martini Corp. are conducting a Customer Open House here — November 13-15th — to show printers and binderies how they can accelerate their production workflows. Conducted under the theme "All Together Now," the event will include prepress and pressroom innovations to show how they interface with the postpress systems MBO America and Muller Martini offer. Scheduled to demonstrate their latest developments at the event are Baumann, Bograma, Creo, Ehret, Herzog & Heymann, hhs America, HP Indigo, IBM, Imaje, Palamides, Ryobi, Scitex, Stralfors, Streamfeeder, Theisen & Bonitz, and Wohlenberg. "Computer Integrated Manufacturing means no system is an island," says Werner Naegeli, President and CEO of Muller Martini Corp. "Everything must work together. Each element must talk to every other component. This Open House will put those concepts into action for printing and bindery executives who are looking for new ways to enhance their profitability." Hans Max, President and CEO of MBO America, notes that the Open House is a perfect opportunity for those who can’t attend Graph Expo to get a first-hand look at the cutting edge in graphic arts production. "Even those who visit Graph Expo should drop by," he says, "because our Open House format gives them a chance to interact with the innovations and the people who developed them on a more direct level. We have the time to take a personal interest in their questions and comments." Complete descriptions of the equipment being demonstrated at the Customer Open House will be released in the coming weeks. Refreshments will be available at the event, including German sausages and sauerkraut. As its name indicates, the MBO America/Muller Martini Customer Open House is free to anyone who is interested in attending. However, reservations are required.
