PrintSoft Launches PegaDirect, an Enterprise Solution for Personalized Correspondence
Press release from the issuing company
Chicago, IL; August 1, 2007 - PrintSoft, the leading provider of technology for rules-driven personalized communications, today announced the availability of PrintSoft PegaDirect, a correspondence creation and management solution fully integrated with Pegasystems' leading SmartBPM Suite.
PrintSoft's recently announced partnership with Pegasystems and its participation in the Pega Exchange has already resulted in an agreement with a major health services provider that plans to deploy PegaDirect to improve automation and control over correspondence used for Prior Authorizations, a key business process within the company.
PrintSoft PegaDirect enables Pegasystems business process management customers to generate highly personalized correspondence directly from their Pega-powered BPM workflows, while automatically providing compliance and brand management controls. It allows users to create, modify and send letters, invoices and other mission-critical documents based on business process rules. Letter content can include variable paragraphs, dynamic signatures, variable data fields, and variable images. A wizard incorporated into PegaDirect ensures that data mapping, managed by the business process owners, is both fast and simple.
Easy-to-configure web-based workflows available with PegaDirect enable personnel at each site to configure a range of capabilities for their users, based on the workflow requirements and user permissions required. For example, document generation can be fully automated and triggered purely on business process rules. Alternatively, the user experience can be managed to give business users the ability to change content only in designated areas of the document with built-in approval cycles if needed.
"A Pegasystems customer with the key business goal of sending high volume, customized correspondence is already realizing results with PrintSoft's PegaDirect Module as a plug into their SmartBPM solution," said Douglas Kim, managing director, Global Alliances, Pegasystems. "Through the Pega Exchange, this customer was able to quickly find and implement the best solution to meet their ease of use and high performance demands in a very short delivery window. As the leader in the BPM market, we are committed to collaborating with leading ISV's and solution providers like PrintSoft to provide our customers with real solutions that deliver immediate value, and we are thrilled to have PrintSoft on board with the Pega Exchange."
The PrintSoft PegaDirect module is fully integrated with Pegasystems SmartBPM platform, as well as with the full range of PrintSoft document composition and mail optimization solutions, making the solution both easy to deploy and highly scalable. As part of the Pega Exchange, PrintSoft PegaDirect is a standard, fully-supported software module available to any Pegasystems customer ensuring on-going maintenance and enhancement from both Pega and PrintSoft going forward.
Benefits of PrintSoft PegaDirect for Pegasystems customers include exceptional time-to-value for initial deployment of sophisticated correspondence systems, enhanced corporate message management with fully auditable change control, and streamlined and automated processes for document assembly and print production.
"We are proud to be joining forces with Pegasystems as a Pega Exchange partner," commented Dan Sheedy President of PrintSoft Americas. "The PegaDirect solution is highly important and strategic to PrintSoft and we're extremely pleased with the positive response from our initial outreach. We're off to a great start."
The Pega Exchange, unveiled on June 1, 2007, gives Pegasystems customers access to a wide universe of pre-built components that make integration projects less complex. Pega Exchange hosts a growing range of utilities, plug-ins and full-featured applications and features online collaboration to assist organizations with similar process challenges.
