Creo Assigns Judge To Manage New Xerox Sales

BILLERICA, MA -- January 7, 2004 -- Creo Americas is pleased to announce that Martin Judge, business manager, Strategic Business Initiativess, will take on the responsibility for guiding the success of the recently announced reseller agreement with Xerox. The agreement, announced January 5, expands the partnership between Creo and Xerox. Effective February 1, Creo will resell Xerox mid-range and entry-level production color digital presses in the United States and Canada. The two companies are also cooperating in the development of workflow software. "Our customers are speaking with us about ways to gain new customers, broaden offerings to existing clients and reduce costs. When integrated in an intelligent way, digital print can play a major role in achieving these business objectives," said Larry Letteney, president of Creo Americas. "The impact of digital printing on the traditional commercial printer has long been a source of discussion. We now see vast opportunities to complement our existing methods of graphic communications with digital print," he added. "Marty brings great expertise and experience from his many roles from marketing and business development to operations and manufacturing," said Ken Hanulec, vice president of Marketing, Creo Americas. "He is uniquely qualified to be the 'point person' for our customers, the industry, as well as for our Creo teams." Prior to joining Creo, Mr. Judge held senior positions in Business Development and Operations at Fiber Optic Network Solutions, a fiber optic component manufacturer. He implemented domestic and international manufacturing, drove product development and implementation, and established new sales organizations worldwide. Mr. Judge spent five years with Indigo, Inc. in senior business development and legal affairs roles. He also ran a successful law practice and began his career with Cambridge Digital Corporation, a Digital Equipment VAR. Mr. Judge holds a BS in Business Administration from Nichols College, a JD from Suffolk University Law School, and an MBA from the Sawyer School of Management, Suffolk University. He is based in the Creo America headquarters in Billerica, MA. Chris O'Connor, director of Business Development and Alliances for Creo, will manage the business aspects of the reseller agreement with Xerox, and oversee the cooperative workflow development. Mr. O'Connor will continue to manage OEM relationships related to the Spire color servers that drive Xerox digital color presses.
