July 16, 2003 -- Highlights of Vio Digital Workflow Suite version 5
-- Mac OS X and OS 9 support through a Carbon native application
-- Windows support through a browser-based Java application
-- MultiSend gives users the ability to send files to any specially mounted folder on the LAN. In an environment where third-party file-transfer applications are running, MultiSend allows customers to send files over these lines while gaining the advantage of the Vio
Digital Workflow Suite management.
-- AutoRetrieve is now scriptable to multiple workgroups simultaneously. Originally available interactively, this scripting capability further enhances the automation of the Vio Digital Workflow Suite.
-- Send-to-me mandatory e-mail addresses allows more accurate tracking and reporting of job statistics and status.
-- Usage reports, originally accessible via the administrative tools on the Web, can now be generated through the main user interface. This feature is in response to user requests and is a more convenient way for clients to generate reports.
-- Http downloads allow users to download files when FTP connectivity is not available.
-- ISDN-from-me (to match ISDN-to-me) complements the Internet delivery tools of Send-to-me, Sent-from-me, and hot icons to offer a complete set of options to get into and out of the Vio environment via ISDN and over the Web.
