Press release from the issuing company
MENTOR, Ohio – Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions announced the 2024 Wrap Like Royalty Challenge, formerly Wrap Like a King. Submissions open April 1 and runs until June 28, 2024. This year’s competition features more categories and more opportunities to win. The Challenge will include four vehicle categories (cars and caravans, boats and jet skis, trucks and trailers, and other commercial vehicles) and three application classes (color change, print design and fantasy, which is a creative mixture of films on a single vehicle). The number of vehicle categories and submission classes gives shops and installers a chance to submit multiple examples of their best work for an increased opportunity to be recognized.
Wrap installers from over 40 countries are invited to submit their best full print, color change, or mixed film vehicle wrapping projects. Global winners will be announced during a virtual awards show in July (date to be announced).
“The evolution of Wrap Like a King into Wrap Like Royalty not only acknowledges that not all great wrappers are men, it also increases the opportunities to win in each region,” Graphics Marketing Director Bethany Nock said. “Their projects will be judged by a global panel of qualified predefined Judges
for the chance to win thousands of dollars in prizes and be recognized by peers and customers.”
The combined prize packages for 2024 Regional and Continental winners exceeds $30,000 in value. The Global winners will receive a four-night hotel stay in Las Vegas during SEMA 2024, among other rewards.
“Giving back to the community is important to Avery Dennison. We are thrilled to evolve and expand the original Wrap Like a King competition to 2024 Wrap Like Royalty so this award recognition is more inclusive of all installers,” Nock said.
