Fedrigoni Launches its Annual Fedrigoni 365 Calendar Project to Celebrate Love

Press release from the issuing company

The project collaborates with a range of creatives to demonstrate interpretations of this universal emotion

Fedrigoni, the leading global producer of luxury speciality papers and self-adhesive labelling products, unveils the latest edition of its highly anticipated annual calendar project, Fedrigoni 365.

This year, 365 creatives were assigned a date to express an overarching theme: the powerful emotion of love. Contributors to the project were asked to spread this message by expressing their interpretation of love as the core inspiration behind their designs, ranging from romantic relationships - resulting in both love and heartbreak - to more platonic expressions of love with friends and family.

The book is printed on a beautiful mélange of red to pink hues from Fedrigoni’s vast collection of fine papers, each range showcasing unique features – from uncoated to coated, smooth to felt-marked, pearlescent to recycled. This year the book is created with several different paper stocks including Sirio Color, Sirio Color Rough, Sirio Pearl, Ispira, Woodstock, Freelife Merida and Materica. Each book is then wrapped in another paper, Imitlin E/R05 Tela, which is normally used as a packaging grade.

Designed by TM and printed by Identity, the book covers and spines were assembled at random, with varying coloured front and back cover boards glued to each book block. The process has been purposefully left to chance, allowing each edition to carry its own visual signature and message of love, bringing together both complementary and juxtaposing mixes of colour.

A limited number of Fedrigoni 365 LOVE can be purchased from Counter-Print, with profits from sales donated to the British Heart Foundation. To date, the Fedrigoni 365 project has raised more than £25,000 for different charities.

Ambra Fridegotto, Marketing Manager, Fedrigoni UK commented: ““Fedrigoni 365 has always created a sense of community and a creative outlet for our collaborators, and being able to involve so many creatives in a single project is incredible. It has been wonderful to see the response on a topic we can all universally relate to: love. It’s the first year we assign a theme and the variety of interpretations have been beautiful. It’s also been a great opportunity to showcase the variety of papers we manufacture. Through a single colour - red - we displayed a multitude of shades, textures and features, each with their own defining identity. Rediscovering the Paper Box, which houses over 80 ranges, reminded me of how much choice and creative freedom we can offer. It is a must-have for all creatives.”

The publication is continuously celebrated throughout the year thanks to daily posts on Instagram and Twitter which can be followed through the handle @fedrigoni365.

Previous editions have highlighted select stocks from Fedrigoni’s vast range of papers, from an entirely black book in 2018 to an edition made of ten white papers in 2019, followed by a recycled rainbow of colours in 2020 and a version printed digitally filled with variability in 2021. Fedrigoni 365 2022 was printed entirely on the sustainable FSC® certified range Materica, made with 25% recycled content and 10% cotton. A limited number of previous editions have also been released for sale through Counter-Print.
