GMG and HP to Deliver a Webinar About Color Reproduction for Digital Corrugated Packaging

Press release from the issuing company

Hingham, Mass. – GMG, the leading developer of high-end color management solutions, will be conducting a webinar with HP around color reproduction for digital corrugated packaging on May 25 at 11am (EDT). Ran Lev of HP, Marc Levine of GMG, Mary Schilling, owner of Schilling Inkjet Consulting, and Kyle DeJesus, President of Company Box, will be discussing how to best meet brand requirements for accurate and repeatable color.

Late last year, GMG announced the launch of a new, focused solution for HP PageWide corrugated press users. The new corrugated solution, designed in collaboration with HP, includes award-winning GMG color management software and proofing media, default profiles and settings, along with training and consulting to ensure a converter maximizes its potential with this GMG-HP solution. The system offers optimal and repeatable color results with a proof-to-press match, as well as cost and time savings on test print runs and implementation of jobs, while increasing press capacity—making HP digital corrugated presses more profitable. Users find that it streamlines profiling and recalibration, while reducing make-ready time, automating data conversion, and delivering color that meets and exceeds the print buyer's expectation.

GMG’s color management solutions work seamlessly with the HP One Package Workflow Suite to enable converters to make a smooth transition into digital printing, and GMG’s color management software helps converters deliver a high degree of color predictability, whether for print production of complex packaging or color proofing. The right color and data preparation—for conventional or digital printing—increases efficiencies and considerably decreases makeready efforts.
