ANNOUNCING A MAJOR UPGRADE AGREEMENT WITH A PROMINENT PACKAGING COMPANY
Danvers, Mass. – TECHKON – the innovation leader in high-precision color measurement solutions for the global print and packaging communities – announces a major upgrade agreement with a prominent packaging company (“The Company”) headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia with locations nationwide. “The Company” is yet another example of a trend that Techkon has seen over the last 18 months with many of its packaging customers. The growth in the global packaging industry coupled with the demand for improved color quality and consistency has led to a significant increase in the investment of color measurement instrumentation.
In reponse to this growing trend, Techkon established an Upgrade Program for new and existing customers. “The Company” is the latest packaging manufacturer to take advantage of Techkon’s Upgrade Program. The Techkon Upgrade Program helps global commercial and packaging printers transistion from legacy competitive devices as well as older Techkon devices by providing extensive technical support services as well as trade-in rebates. Many existing Techkon customers, including “The Company” are thrilled to learn of these services and have opted to take advantage of this new program.
Included in the Upgrade Program for the aforementioned company is a fleet of Techkon’s scanning spectrophotometers, the SpectroJet. The SpectroJet automatically measures density and color values of process and spot colors, and simultaneously transfers the measurement data to a PC within seconds. It is guided by hand along color test patches, with tracking wheels to ensure a straight run and can be used for automatic scanning or as a hand-held device for “spot check” measurements. The SpectroJet is part of Techkon’s suite of color measurement solutions and comes standard with a guide rail and easy to use software.
