Strong growth is forecast for the thermal printing industry according to the latest exclusive analysis from Smithers Pira.

The global thermal print market reached a total value of $35.51 billion at end-user level in 2018. The market is then forecasted to expand at a rate of 5.0% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) through to 2023—yielding total market value of $45.39 billion in that year.

The thermal print outlook contrasts well with the overall print industry forecast from Smithers Pira, which will see annual increases in value of just 0.8% across the same period.
