Jennifer, I agree that vendors must follow the business process. On the other side, so many narrow tools can be used, which helps to optimize the process. But at the end, you will have the list of unconnected tools working separately, and it does not create one ecosystem. In this case, custom development can help a lot and create such one ecosystem, allowing all the systems to work as one unit.
