SPESA Continues to Support the Sewn Products Industry in the Time of COVID-19

Over the past 30 years, The Sewn Products Equipment & Suppliers of the Americas (SPESA) has devoted itself to identifying the best ways to support its members—through networking, professional development and a variety of events including the co-production of the Texprocess Americas trade show with Messe Frankfurt. Through these various channels, SPESA provides its members with the best opportunities to meet new customers and share the latest innovations in equipment and technology. Bottom line, it is SPESA’s goal as an association to get its people together.

But COVID-19 had different plans this year. Like everyone else, SPESA spent the first half of 2020 dealing with the impact of the global pandemic. Events were postponed, travel was canceled, budgets upended, and plans flew out the window.
