Color management used to be a matter of intuition and educated guesswork. Now, says X-Rite Pantone president Ron Voigt, it's what can happen automatically when printers use "a consistent language and a consistent set of processes to control color from the front of the workflow to the back of the workflow." Voigt reaffirms that color will always be associated with art and the designer's inspiration. X-Rite Pantone supplies tools to turn that vision into digital specifications for accurate reproduction in print.
