First, love the beard!
Second, the name change is in line with where the industry is moving. Tech has automated, successfully, many of the 'black box' solutions of the past only a wizened craftsperson could provide. Color management is much easier to implement; lights out production is much easier to deploy. Technology is the key to successful print operations as it is with any manufacturing (think robot burger flippers).
The industry must focus on enabling marketing people and their designers with technology tools that make fantastic ideas achievable and cost effective. Association of Print Technology is an APT name change...
