Thanks so much for bringing Elbert Hubbard and Roycroft to your reader's attention.
As a printer and collector of private press books the Roycrofters have long been a great inspiration to me. I started collecting their books over 35 years ago and have a collection of over 100 volumes.
Dard Hunter was a designer and papermaker that worked at Roycroft and was responsible for many of their most beautiful editions. Hunter revived the ancient art of hand made paper and later become one of the world authorities on papermaking.
I too have visited the Roycroft Museum and Inn in east Aurora, NY and would recommend it to anyone passing through that region. PBS recently did a video on the history of Roycroft which can be viewed at http://video.pbs.org/video/1336444205/
