Frank discusses several things this week as they come across his desk. Helvetica perfume? Your likeness in chocolate? A 3D printed book cover? A rant on the decline of the Christmas card? All this and more from the beloved curmudgeon emeritus.

My goodness Frank!
You were really wound up in this video. I thougth I was going to get a papercut as you whipped those examples in front of the camera.
I agree with the holiday greeting cards. I do save the good ones or pass them along to our designers.
I also think that thank you notes for special gifts and occasions should be hand-written on note cards (Mine are from Crane & Company-the best of the best as far as I am concerned.) These cards says "I really appreciate your thoughtfulness," better than any email facebook entry or text could ever do. But that's me..and probably you too.
Thank you,
Diane

Frank,
Regarding printed corporate holiday greeting cards, I can't say I got less this year, but I certainly didn't get any more than during the 2012 holiday season.
But I did complete my fourth annual video review of those printed cards. See:

Hope you liked the letterpress card I sent you!
