Print was once a physically demanding and dirty manufacturing business but today it's colorful, clean and dynamic, which is more exciting to young people like Kendra but also refreshing for those of us who are not so young. The software programs and computer-controlled systems allow todays workforce to produce better-quality products in higher volumes without the mess and hard work from the past. I'd encourage more students and young workers to investigate careers in the printing industry and for business leaders and managers to give tours to as many high school and college students as possible. Every time my team hosts a tour, it lights a fire for the students and rekindles the one inside each of us.
