Cary, may I ask you stupid question?
Post print is to print onto corrugated board directly, like Nozomi from EFI?
What about direct-to-board?
From Robert's answer, I guess direct-to-board means preprint onto liner and build corrugated later, like HP PageWide T Presses?
Thanks!

No questions are stupid! Pre print means you print on substrate that is later laminated to the corrugated. Post print means you print directly on the corrugate after it's been manufactured. That could be a roll or direct to board like Nozomi. My apologies, I should have explained that in the article! Too much industry jargon. Hope you will keep reading. Thanks for reaching out!

Cary, thanks for your quick answer. So post print is directly print to manufactured corrugate either role or board, so "direct to board" is one way of the post-print. That is my understanding too.
But In your article on April 19, you wrote "In terms of why they chose to go with corrugated post-print rather than direct-to-board as some others have chosen to do". The answer was “We have a philosophical view that when you are looking for just-in-time production, you are better off doing the print at the end of the process rather than at the beginning of the process.”, that confuses me a lot. Could kindly let me know your thought on that?
