Thanks Frank - great comments. Yes, those who build the machinery to manufacture books also report increasing sales. As for backgrounds, yes, we bookbinders sometimes just glued beautifully, gold stamped spines onto card boards. It then looked the bookshelves were filled with valuable books. The movie industry loved them.
Interesting, how these days, most lawyers still have their pictures taken in front of bookshelves filled with expensive law books.
